8 Valentine’s Day set menus to book now for stress-free celebrations
Forget the stress of hosting a special night at home and book these set menu experiences instead.
Whether you go big for Valentine’s Day or not, there’s no denying that every year when 14 February rolls round many of us are left with the feeling that we should be doing something to celebrate. But that doesn’t mean it has to be elaborate or complicated.
In fact, we’re big fans of outsourcing all of the hard work to the professionals and booking in for a delicious set menu dining experience rather than toiling away trying to make something at home.
And whether you prefer an upscale vibe or something more casual, there are plenty of options across the city to celebrate in style, whether with a partner or friends.

STK
Make it a Valentine’s Day to remember with skyline views, bold flavours and DJ‑led late‑night vibes at STK Stratford and STK Strand. With a four-course set menu (£90pp) that includes Wagyu tartare on crispy rice, 350g of STK’s finest tenderloin served with roasted lobster tail and finished with a dramatic dark chocolate sphere filled with silky chocolate cremeux, fresh raspberries, and pistachio crunch, we promise you won’t leave hungry.

The Italian Greyhound
Tucked just moments from Marylebone High Street, The Italian Greyhound is the perfect pit stop from romantic strolls in Hyde Park, offering relaxed, cosy interiors made for couples looking for a long lunch or dinners that drift into the evening and beyond.
Guests can start with small plates that are perfect for sharing, like chickpea chips with rosemary & lemon, porcini and gorgonzola arancini, and creamy burrata with fig and walnut pesto. For main courses, choose from beautiful Italian favourites including chicken Milanese or lamb ragu tagliatelle. And of course, a visit isn’t complete without a sweet treat: the pistachio tiramisu or limoncello cake with mascarpone and almonds is not to be missed.

Hakkasan
Some of Hakkasan’s most celebrated dishes will be offered as part of its Valentine’s ‘Slow Dance’ menu (£150pp): signature steamed dim sum, grilled Chilean sea bass in honey, and crispy freshwater prawns, alongside a cocktail featuring Pantalones Reposado Tequila. The venue will also be adorned with red balloons, a striking heart-shaped installation crowning the staircase, and a red carpet arrival through the corridor, for an unforgettable evening of romance.

Ling Ling’s at Godet
Ling Ling’s Valentine’s dishes are designed for sharing and messy eating. The hash brown served with Sichuan spiced tofu cream and fish roe is the fancy snack to impress. Move on to the crispy fried sweet potato and red miso wontons, followed by the aromatic Vietnamese octopus salad. To finish, Ling Ling’s has given their signature matcha tiramisu a makeover. For one night only, the dessert incorporates tangy Chinese Haw flakes (Chinese hawthorn flavoured sweets) and is topped with fresh fruit. The ultimate Valentine’s Day dessert.

Kanishka by Atul Kochhar
Set in the heart of Mayfair, Kanishka’s elegant and contemporary interiors set an intimate backdrop for a truly memorable evening, centred around its signature seven-course ‘Two By Two’ tasting menu (£128pp) designed for couples to choose different dishes at each course while sharing the experience together.
Curate your journey course by course, choosing between meat and vegetarian options throughout. Starters include hand-dived Harris Island scallops with rhubarb and purple sprouting broccoli, or organic beetroot and goat’s cheese tikki with smoked yoghurt, followed by Norwich chicken in a traditional makhani sauce or soya keema with cottage cheese pie. The menu concludes with a refreshing passion fruit and chilli palate cleanser, before a decadent finale of chai chocolate lava cake with strawberry clotted cream.

Electric Shuffle
Fancy a celebration that feels a bit more low-key? Valentine’s brunch at Electric Shuffle (£38pp) offers you the chance to celebrate with friends, alongside two hours of bottomless pizza, plenty of drinks and, of course, an hour-long game of shuffleboard. What’s more, they have in-house DJs bringing the energy so you’ll be able to dance all night long, too.

Dalloway Terrace
Nestled inside the iconic Bloomsbury Hotel, you’ll find Dalloway Terrace – loved for its delicious food and beautiful aesthetic.
For Valentine’s, you can tuck into its six-course menu (£85pp) with dishes including blood orange-glazed burrata, rib-eye steak and dark chocolate-dipped strawberries while sitting in a specially designed setting crafted by Elizabeth Scarlett.
And, to make the event even more magical, poet Luke Davis will be performing live poetry for guests on 14 February from 11.30am – 7.30pm.

Jikoni
Looking for a Valentine’s meal that’s bursting with flavour? Book a meal at Jikoni to celebrate in style. The restaurant’s set menu (£70pp) includes its signature prawn toast scotch egg, native lobster and seasonal pavlova complete with Turkish delight ice cream. You’ll even get a glass of Château Galoupet Cru Classé to begin, so you can toast your other half.
