Chanel pays tribute to its iconic Rouge Noir shade with a new make-up collection
You’ll have likely heard of Chanel’s iconic Rouge Noir. Now, the brand has created an entire make-up collection to honour the popular hue.
In the world of beauty products, there are some shades that are as iconic as their formulas and one that sits on the top of that list is Chanel’s Rouge Noir. Deep, rich and flattering for everybody, the hue, which just so happens to be Chanel’s deepest red, originally launched in 1995 in the form of a nail polish.
Today, the brand unveils its new Rouge Noir collection, an extension of the popular hue, and the products are just as beautiful. Designed by Ammy Drammeh, Chanel’s global make-up creative partner, the new range takes the iconic Rouge Noir shade and breaks down the colour, extracting its hints of pink, magenta and grey.
The result is a collection of eyeshadows, lipsticks, eye pens, balms and nail polishes across these colours, all encompassing the different facets of Rouge Noir. Alongside the flattering hues, each one of the formulas are highly impressive, too, delivering seamless bendability, high pigment pay-off and dreamy finishes. Keen to discover the line-up?
