Try this Grinch-inspired cocktail to serve to guests this Christmas

Food and Drink

Tired of fizz and want to serve something creative to your guests over Christmas? Try this Grinch-themed cocktail.

It’s almost Christmas! Just one more sleep until the big day arrives.

We believe it’s never too early to kickstart the festive celebrations. Whether you enjoy spending 24 December by hosting friends and family for drinks and canapes ahead of the main event or prefer to watch a film in your pyjamas, there’s something magical about Christmas Eve, too.

And, it goes without saying that a festive day calls for a festive drink. That doesn’t have to involve alcohol – especially not now there are so many 0% drinks on the market that feel suitably celebratory. But if you’re looking for a cocktail to serve to guests ahead of red wine or fizz, we have the recipe for you.

Enter: The Grinch. Named after the classic Christmas character and created by the expert food and drink team at Clays, it’s the perfect serve for your guests. Clays calls it “a mischievous twist on festive cheer” which “channels the playful spirit of the disco era with Midori, the iconic melon liqueur of the 80s and 90s”. If you’re someone who loves to create a showstopping cocktail, it’s certainly one for you.
