We finally have a trailer and release date for Charli xcx’s film The Moment
Charli xcx’s upcoming film has finally announced its release date… and cinema audiences are in for a treat.
Anyone who’s a fan of Charli will know that the singer’s career has gone from strength to strength over the last year. From releasing her album brat in June 2024 and creating a pop culture moment to headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2025, the world clearly can’t get enough of the star.
While Charli is known for her singing and stage performances, she’s expressed a desire to move into acting, which has resulted in her landing a huge upcoming film role. After a cameo part in Prime’s Overcompensating (where she also featured heavily on the soundtrack), Charli is set to star in A24 film The Moment.
The film had already announced a highly anticipated cast list in October. Excitingly, we now have a trailer and release date, too. Read on for everything we know so far.
What is The Moment about?
We know Charli takes on the role of a pop star who is preparing for a worldwide tour. Told in mockumentary format, Charli will play a pop sensation as she navigates fame, fortune and more.

When will The Moment be released?
The Moment will be released in the US on 30 January, so very soon. Here in the UK, we will have to wait a little bit longer, but mark your diaries for 20 February, as that’s when The Moment will be released in cinemas here.
